Love and Responsible Pet Ownership That Inspires Us

Niña is a sweet 1-year-old pup who lives with her guardian in the San Antonio area. Working hard every day in recycling, her owner was fully committed to responsible pet ownership and actively reached out for help to spay her and prevent unwanted litters.

Stories like Niña’s prove that love and responsibility for animals are not defined by economic status. When there is a genuine desire to care for a companion, all that is needed is a helping hand.

Thanks to our donor community at A Light, we were able to cover Niña’s spay surgery. Supporting dedicated owners not only prevents animal overpopulation on the streets, but also strengthens the vital bond between families and their pets in our community.
